It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Madame Louise Apie Abe, beloved mother of our dear sister Eugénie N'Zwe.

Madame Louise Apie Abe passed away on 18th February 2026. She was 77 years old.

On behalf of the entire Akwaba North East family, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Eugénie and her family during this incredibly difficult time. May they find comfort in our love and solidarity.

We ask all members to keep Eugénie and her family in their thoughts and prayers. 🙏🏾

Dear members, this is a friendly reminder that our next monthly meeting will be held on the first Saturday of February. The meeting will take place at our usual venue in Newcastle upon Tyne from 14:00 to 16:00. All members are encouraged to attend as we will be discussing important community matters and upcoming events. Light refreshments will be provided.

Mark your calendars! The Annual General Assembly (AGA) for 2026 will be held in March. This is a crucial event for our association where we will review the past year's activities, present financial reports, and elect new committee members. All active members are expected to attend. More details including the exact date, venue, and agenda will be shared soon.
